"HAZEL MARIE COLE CHARITY AWARD" PRESENTED TO STUDENTS FROM THE UNITED WORLD COLLEGE OF THE ADRIATIC

The award of pocket money, at the United World College's premises, was done in memory of Hazel Cole Pianciamore who recently died. The prize consisting of pocket money to five students was presented by Mr Pianciamore to Mr Sutcliffe, the headmaster, Mr Zanetti the Chairman of the school and to five students from Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, India and South Africa. The awards presented by the Charity have three main areas of focus. A prize for the "Alunno più buono d'italia" (the kindest child in ltaly), pocket money to students who win scholarships for the United World college of the Adriatic and coming from poor countries and, thirdly, prizes to young people who help the elderly in need.
